What is GFI,  it is Growing families International,  a parenting program for everyone.  This web page will also have the events for the Marriage and Family department of Sanctuary of Praise.  Through the summer our "Seasoned" group ages 40-60 and our "Homebuilders" group ages 20 -40 single and married families will be having picnics and get togethers for fellowship. 

Sanctuary of Praise is now offering weekly parenting classes. Join us each Sunday at 2 PM for "Growing Kid's God's Way." This class is for parents of children ages 3-12. A powerpoint presentation with a workbook and class discussion provides an hour of excellent guidance for parents.
 

All classes for GFI at Sanctaury of Praise has just completed.  In the fall we are offering two classes,  one starting in mid September 2007,  Along the Vitreous Way,  which deals with children 15 months to 12 years old.  We will have a breakout session for parents of adolescents.  This course is Along the Innocent Way.  This program will deal with the facts concerning sex education and how to present the facts of life to your children at the right time and in a Godly manner.  This is a very important course.  You may sign up by sending your name through the Contact Us site.  Please state that you are interested in the Along the Innocent Way or Along the Vitreous way,  Class times will be forth coming in the month of August 2007.  Each course will last several weeks and have a question and Answer time available.

Pamela Kern of Sanctuary of Praise has just received a certification for the GFI program below is her bio.   Pamela Kern moved to the state of Washington with her husband in 1972,  since that time she has been the Pastor's wife of Sanctuary of Praise,  Christian Life Academy administrator for 3 years,  Has a equivalent to a A. A. in Bible Theology,  Child Care.  She has served as a volunteer Chaplin at Echo Glen for 3 years,  is on the Staff of Sanctuary of Praise being the Department head of Marriage on the Family.  In the last 10 years Pam has authored "To Ladies With Love"  a lady book,  Growing in the Word teachers manual and student handbook,  and will be publishing this summer " The Song of the Sparrow.  By God's intervention and the help of naturopathic coaching and Dr. Peters of Swedish hospital she is now two years in remission from Ovarian Cancer.  She would like to share her years of experience with you in these classes.    Pamela is a Bible Study teacher that loves to teach and would love to get you on her schedule to receive a Bible Study.
